Main Purpose of the Job

We’re recruiting for a market-leading technology software provider, targeting the staffing industry. Its primary product is a custom solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 aimed primarily at recruitment agencies and businesses within professional staffing sectors. After some phenomenal success in 2022 - the team is looking to further grow their sales function to service new customers as well as continue to expand their market share.

The Enterprise Account Executive will sell our clients' award-winning Microsoft SaaS Solution to staffing and recruitment businesses, you will have the backing of a tried and tested, market-leading Enterprise Tech Stack and a small but rapidly expanding global business.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for the following core activities:

  • Managing the sales process from beginning to end. Actively sourcing leads, cold outreach, running product demos, following up, negotiating contracts and preparing detailed handovers to the Customer Success team. 

  • Managing the sales process from beginning to end, need to work with the existing sales dev team to have discovery sessions or pre-qualified leads, but also source and find leads based on targeted areas, region, company size etc.  

  • Work in collaboration with Customer Success teams to support and enhance ongoing Customer relationships using references, testimonials and case studies from the customer base. 

  • Analysing market trends, competition and generating opportunities by understanding client needs 

  • Attend networking meetings, conferences, trade shows, exhibitions and customer events.  

  • Performing online and Face-to-Face meetings with company prospects to present our digital platform and services to The Successful Applicant. 

  • Support the sales and delivery teams in the onboarding of new Accounts.  

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the Mercury product and all elements of associated products and solutions at a demonstrable level. 

  • Demonstrate and uphold company values in all elements of their duties. 

  • Experience in working with key marketing tools, such as LinkedIn, Lusha, Loom or Video technology, for example, to help elevate the sales process. 

  • Build a content-driven personal brand working with sales and marketing that is relative to the product. 

Person Specification

Experience within the recruitment industry and understanding of recruitment agency workflow, processes and legislation.  

  • Knowledge of recruitment software and third-party technology providers.  

  • Account management, account development and strategic account planning experience (Mid-Market/ Enterprise)

  • Familiarity with and interest in software and technology. 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Understanding of Office 365.

  • Team player who is people-oriented.  

  • Ability to cope with peaks in workload.  

  • Highly motivated with ambition and career focus. 

  • Confidence to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment, positive and fun individual.

  • Have a passion for entrepreneurship and for reaching out to people, presenting a service/ product and negotiating. 

  • Highly customer focussed with a professional approach to service delivery.  

  • Presentable and credible with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.  

  • Interest in business issues and motivated to add commercial value.  

  • Highly responsive with the ability to assimilate and interpret information quickly.
