Summary
The Business Development Director will be responsible for generating new business growth by selling our clients solutions into predominantly the large enterprise business space. The Business Development Director will be responsible for delivering sales against quarterly and annual targets that will be provided by their leadership team. The successful candidate will be given the appropriate sales training to help achieve their targets.

Responsibilities
Meeting with prospective Enterprise clients and presenting wellbeing solutions
Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure sales quota target coverage
Managing full sales cycle from beginning of opportunity to successful contracting and hand off to the Customer Success Management team, and using Salesforce CRM software to log and track opportunity journey
Supporting the development of new broker channel relationships and influencing their decision-making process
Succeeding as a Business Development Director will require the following core qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience required
3-4+ years of directly related work experience in a sales focused environment, and a proven track record of success in complex B2B sales or solution sales
Experience in employee health and wellness, wellbeing, disability management, or other similar support programs and the associated technology preferred
Full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Teams
Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software
A high level of motivation, strong presentation skills, an understanding of consultative selling, and the ability to manage the sales cycle effectively and autonomously
Strong interpersonal skills, and solid written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management, and collaborative skills that allow you to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
